Monday July 29, 2024 2:10pm - 3:40pm PDT
Start planning to care for yourself during your first years of teaching before you even begin! We often hear that teaching is the toughest profession. It is. It requires us to bring our full self everyday. Doing this can be challenging and focusing on how we care for ourselves can be lost. This professional development session called “Introduction to the Mindful Toolkit” will build your skills and language around self care, community care, and work-life balance. It will create language for you to talk about your sustainability, resilience and emotional intelligence, so you can better serve students and communities.
