6-8 ELA teachers will receive training in the district adopted curriculum - the ELEd Modules - and the accompanying Designated ELD curriculum. Teachers will prepare for fall instruction by collaboratively unpacking the first curriculum module and understanding the tasks students will do and the standards associated with them. Teachers will learn to navigate their instructional materials, engage in instructional strategies that are key to the curriculum, and rehearse lessons with their peers.
